First Base Identity refresh Case Study

Having developed the original First Base identity back in 2002, Orbit were tasked with giving the company communications a complete refresh.
A distinctive part of the company’s identity is the DNA strip which is a reflection of First Base’s commitment to innovatively designed projects which are always of an inclusive, sustainable nature.

The colours were narrowed down to four, bright, multi purpose building blocks which can be used in multiple ways. In stationery, they’re used as a discrete strip, while online or on the iPad app they form a colourful matrix that shifts and moves. The new identity now has the flexibility to embrace the company’s every expanding scope of progressive projects.
