Allen & Overy

As a result of expansion, the law firm Allen & Overy, chose to relocate their current Bangkok office on the 22nd floor of The Sindhorn Tower up to the 23rd. Conceptual thinking was led by three key words that are the essence of this outstanding law firm: Transparency, Authenticity & Authority. Open planning, honesty of materials and a strong but progressive design language ensured we captured these qualities.

For our planning principles, defining a clear boundary between public and secured office zones was critical. Although the relatively luxurious look and feel of the office is apparent, what is not is the significant effort that went into developing bespoke products that give the space a clean, bold design balanced with a relaxed, approachable touch.

Natural limestone is applied to the floor, walls and reception desk in the client facing areas which contrasts with the darker, acoustic, perforated walnut walls linking reception with the main conference room. Perforated acoustic metal ceiling tiles with integrated luminaires and linear air diffusers were used to give a minimal look. Social spaces

Orbit has integrated forward thinking space planning with a rich, timeless design that, much like a luxury car, belies the complexity underneath that delivers a smooth, seamless workspace experience. Beyond meeting the functional requirements set in the brief, we have created a space where both clients and staff have their respective flexible social spaces allowing for both work and social interaction.
