P&G Sydney

The goal of this project was to renovate, rebalance and reactivate an entire floor plate for 130 staff. A tired reception, underutilised areas and a keen budget in a city notorious for high build costs were the challenges.

The changes in the reception area included new waiting area furniture and a bold wave-inspired sculpture hanging off an oak-panelled backdrop behind the existing reception desk. In the OC area, a backlit barrisol skylight evoking a Sydney sky, hovers over and anchors the space. A variety of touchdown and huddle booth seating has been created, together with a product display wall which also gives this area some privacy from the adjoining workspace. Oak wood flooring contrasts with the dark grey accents in the joinery and this is complemented by the addition of indoor greenery.

This green element continues into the office space, via the wave-inspired graphics applied to both dry walls and the manifestation film on meeting room glazing.
